Compact flexibility
The iR C1021 models deliver exceptional output at speeds of up to 21 pages per minute (A4) in monochrome and colour, yet they’re small enough to be placed on a desktop or in a small space. With features such as standard network printing, duplex colour scanning, and optional colour document distribution (including fax), these devices perform beyond the capabilities of most other all-in-one competitors. The iR C1021 also features an optional free standing pedestal that provides an additional 500 sheet paper capacity plus the flexibility to locate the device in a tight work area.

Brilliant colour printing
Right out of the box your iR C1021/1021i is a network-enabled printer featuring Canon’s powerful, yet easy-to-use, UFR II print driver. The devices produce high quality colour output and accurate gradients through Canon’s oil-free S-Toners, which have been specifically engineered for uniformity in size and shape for superior results. And unlike other printers, the
iR C1021/1021i features Pure Black technology to produce text and lines with greater clarity using the black toner only rather than mixing CMYK colours.

Faster and greener
The iR C1021/1021i models have been designed for speed and efficiency. Canon’s unique On-Demand fusing system reduces warm-up to just 60 seconds (from power on) and first print times to just 12.5 seconds. And because the system only uses power when pages are being printed, power usage has been slashed to just 1.2 watts in deep sleep mode (up to 70% less than other fusing systems). Standard auto-duplexing further reduces costs and allows users to print on both sides of the page.

Exceptionally user-friendly
The user interface features a vivid 3.5″ colour TFT display to make operation easy. An innovative “Scroll Wheel” and navigation buttons make menu navigation simple. To boost productivity, users can register “Custom Keys” for frequently used jobs and one-touch keys for common address book entries and network destinations. Whether the device is placed on a desktop or on the pedestal the screen can be tilted for the best viewing angle.

Maintenance is simple
The front-loading design of these models means all consumables can be quickly changed with minimal downtime.

Easy document distribution
Sharing information across the office or around the world can be accomplished at the touch of a button through Colour Send distribution technology.* Scanned documents can be quickly sent as TIFF, JPEG, or PDF files to multiple network destinations, such as email, fax, iFAX, and network folders (SMB/FTP). Destinations can be manually entered or chosen from entries located in the internal address book. This technology also features Canon’s High Compression PDF mode to reduce the size of colour documents for faster sending, and Searchable PDF (OCR) mode to capture the text in scanned pages for fast retrieval and indexing. Document scanning is simple thanks to the 50 sheet auto duplex document feeder that produces up to 20 colour impressions per minute.

Flash media support
For the ultimate in document portability, scanned pages can be saved as TIFF, JPEG, or PDF files using the Scan-to-USB Memory function. You can also print documents from compatible media, even when you don’t have access to a computer, using the Direct Print feature. Images can either be previewed on the colour display or included in an index page containing up to 20 photos per page.

Electronic documentation
Answers to users’ questions about the operation of the device are only a click away in interactive HTML-based user manuals. Information can be searched, printed and even bookmarked quickly and easily. PDF manuals are also provided. Remote administration The Remote UI utility provides the ability to check the status of the device, track the progress of current jobs, monitor paper and cartridge levels, and edit the Address Book, all from your web browser.
