The MS300 features a high resolution output of up to 600 dpi – setting a new standard for A3 microfilm scanning. The MS300 comes with multiple scanning modes including Fine, Photo and Grayscale-Background Erasure and Automatic Exposure are standard features that further contribute to enhanced image quality.
The MS300 boasts high speed scanning of up to 3 seconds per image at 200 dpi. It has a number of Image Enhancement Functions including an Overlay Mode and is capable of outputting scanned images to either PC via SCSI-2 connection or to the FP400 A3 / A4 printer. To achieve efficient high volume batch processing, the MS 800 can be paired with the FS Controller III for automated image retrieval-Included is the Scanning Utility 800 – scanning software that has an easy to use interface and supplies four different file formats – TIFF, BMP, JPEG, JBIG.
